Cut Lemongrass for Loose Tea and Tea Bags
Lemongrass is fibrous, so the cut range and distribution of fine particles matter for blending and filling. Loose tea buyers can request a larger cut, while tea bag manufacturers should provide the size range their machinery needs. Identify the required botanical species and plant material in the enquiry, along with your sensory acceptance criteria.
Applications
- Loose herbal tea blends
- Tea bag manufacturing with an agreed cut grade
- Beverage infusions and botanical processing

Frequently Asked Questions
Can lemongrass be prepared for tea bags?
Ask for a tea bag grade and provide the target cut size and filling requirements. The final grade is confirmed in the offer.
Why does particle size matter?
It affects blending, pack filling and infusion behaviour. Agree the cut distribution rather than relying only on a general TBC description.
Can it be quoted with other tea ingredients?
Yes. Add peppermint, hibiscus or chamomile to the enquiry with the required quantity and grade for each.
